Any image collection of Cambodia likely features a number of photos of people, as the people are special and make a visit to Cambodia special. And then there's the ruins... the pagodas... the beaches...

You cannot avoid the history: Angkor Wat is on the national flag; so many people died at the hands of the Khmer Rouge that anyone you speak with will have a story, but they will be more interested in the here and now; ruins ancient and modern dot the landscape.
